SWEDISH GREENLAND EXPEDITION 2001 - IN NANSEN'S FOOTSTEPS In the summer of 2001 we carried out an expedition with Ola Skinnarmo and five others. We sailed together in Nansen’s footsteps, over the Atlantic to the east coast of Greenland, via the Shetland and Faroe Islands and Iceland. Once there, Torkel and Ola went ashore to ski across the inland ice. It was a journey that had everything from fantastic meetings with dolphins and whales to terrifying crevasses in glaciers. An exciting, sometimes too exciting, expedition, with a dramatic but happy ending.
Torkel lectures and shows interesting photos from this expedition and themes such as: • Adventure – The Swedish Greenland Expedition 2001 • Risks and challenges – a way to develop • Dare to fail in order to succeed • Striving to achieve – focusing on your goals
EXPEDITION AROUND SWEDEN Based on the superb slide show about Around Sweden in 200 Days we lecture on themes such as: - Working to achieve your goals - Working as a team - Going beyond your limits
OTHER LECTURES We also give lectures on more general themes, such as:
- Mountain safety – what makes me safe?
- Children and the outdoors – how can everyone have fun?
